In this class, we started to learn about future vision of the world.

I think that it is impossible for human being to predict future.
In my opinion, future is like idolatry, so there is no future.
Predicting future is escaping from reality of life.
Therefore, I regard predicting as meaningless action.

Also, we discussed capitalism or socialism.
I like capitalism than socialism. This is because capitalism can create "competition".
For human being's life, "competition" is the most important element.
Competition gives us motivation for living, so capitalism is better than communism.

21 Jan ARW Winter Project

Today, we had a class at Mac PC room.
I like this PC class very much. First, we watched stereogram.
Stereogram is very interesting for me!
Without using any 3D glasses, I can see the pictures like 3D! Wow, that's very cool!
As I could see stereogram, this time was very fun for me.
Rab used stereogram as the example of seeing from various perspectives.

Also, I created the group for winter project.
The topic of our group is "Alternative Energy".
I am interested in the future of energy, so I want to research about it.
As I watched the speech of Al Gore, I was moved it.
I'll do my best for winter project.

Today, we discussed clone rights, which mentioned by Tomohiro.
I agree with clone's rights because clone can think and feel like ordinary human beings.
However, I disagree with clone's clone's rights.
This is because I think that clone's clone is not any more human beings.
Clone's clone is like a stuff.

When it becomes possible to make clone, I suggest that we should restrict the frequency of cloning, like dubbing 10. If it were not fo the restriction of frequency of cloning, clone's clone's clone's clone's clone's ........ clone would occur. Therefore, the restriction of how many times we can clone is necessary for us.

On this class, we learned about writing academic essay.
As I am not good at writing academically, this class is so useful!
However, determining the academic word is very difficult.
I can't see clearly which word is more academic...
For example, decide or determine, crucial or vital, and so on.
What is the difference between them?

I think knowing about English word deeply is the best way of solving this ploblem.
Therefore, I will try to research about root of word.

14 Jan Websites!

Today, we learned about how to make websites.
I have not made it beore, so I had no confidence to do it.
However, in order to survive today's IT society, the skill of making websites is very important.
Therefore, I must acquire it!!

And then, I have one question.
"What is the best way to get usefull computer skill?"
Just using computer? Learning about textbook? Being taught by experts?
I don't know which is best.

We continued discussing Bioethics. Mainly, we talked about human cloning.
I disagree with the conception of human cloning. If we sanction cloning, technique of cloning will be abused all over the world. For example, live humanexperiment.
Therfore, I think that humanbeings should restrict to use cloning.

However, nobody sees the cloned human. We don't know about real cloning at all.
People must consider seriously about this topic.

Today, we learned about essay skills. Rab showed us "sentenceworks" to check the grammar.
I have not used this tools before, so I want to try it soon!
Howewver, because of the trouble of system, we can't try it.....

Also, we learned about "media education foundation".
I think that it is easy to understand the information through movies.

Rab taught us essay is like a song.
That is to say, we must compose essay by including other expert's opinion and make it persuassive.
