Today, we discussed the Bioethics.
I felt this issue is difficult to determine right or wrong.
In the discussion, I think that Placebo is ethical and necessary for the people.
This is because placebo can make patient well. Also, the work of doctor is to cure patient.
Therefore, doctor should use placebo when the doctor needs placebo for patient.
If placebo doesn't work for the patient, doctor will tell for the patient he/she uses placebo.
As a result, patient can keep calm.
I think placebo can affect good for the patient.
I saw the movie "The story of stuff".
It was very interesting opinion movie. I agree with the thought of recycle.
However, this movie highlights only negative points of US Economics.
I think this movie is very similar to propaganda.
Therefore, I need the carefull critical consideration about this movie.
Well it's good to have a critical thinking attitude to things but for anything to be propaganda a few conditions need to be met. First it needs to be lying in some way or that the facts are in dispute. With Story of Stuff then you would need to prove it wrong and be wrong on purpose rather than just an error. Secondly propaganda needs to be spread by a system for a set purpose and although the movie and makers have a purpose are they part of a system?
